As with most of Dr Cubbin's reviews I have nothing but high praise for her caring, professional attitude and in-depth knowledge of ADHD. I had already been diagnosed with adult ADHD by another psychiatrist, but as Dr Cubbin was nearer I decided to change consultants for my on-going care to save travel costs. The initial consultation costs for the change over were very reasonable and since then Dr Cubbin has been extremely diligent in making every effort to help me access NHS care. My previous consultant was perfectly professional, but the difference with Dr Cubbin has been amazing. She makes every effort to help, has comprehensive knowledge of the condition, and keeps costs to the absolute minimum. I'm still paying for private care due to my local PCT's prescribing guidelines, but Dr Cubbin is helping me explore drug options that provide optimum results for most economical cost. This is helping me focus my work life so that my earning power is maximised, and I now have a calmer, more measured life. Many thanks for all the good work Dr Cubbin.

Dr Cubbin has completely changed my life for the better. I had been in and out of different doctors for around three years until the ADHD diagnosis was made by Dr Cubbin - how other doctors missed it I am unsure! Considering I turned up 45 minutes late for my initial assessment I was still given the correct amount of time and completely listened to. Whenever I send an email it is very quickly replied to and no question is considered too menial. I can safely say that thanks to Dr Cubbin's help my life has been transformed and I am now a happy and productive individual. I can not recommend Dr Cubbin through words as it would be impossible to write down what an excellent lady she is!

Dr Sally Cubbin has totally changed my life for the better - something GP's, Mental Health Teams, Steps to Well Being, Counsellors etc...have not achieved in over 20 years. What a shame, that there is not enough info out there to direct ADHD Adults and various medical departments including GP's on how to get an adult diagnosis, particularly in Hampshire, where there is no NHS available. If you live in Hampshire and need a diagnosis, go to your GP and ask for them to apply for "Adult ADHD Assessment"...this takes about a month to be approved. Once it has been approved, asked your GP to refer you to Dr Sally Cubbin, who is based at the Priory Southampton a day or two a week. I emailed Dr Sally Cubbins' office administrator to begin with, who sent me all the details on how to get an assessment. I followed the instructions, and any queries I had, they answered them immediately. I then saw Dr Sally Cubbin for my assessment in May - I had been emailed all the forms weeks before to fill in, and I took my husband. I was seen on time, and we went through a lengthy assessment, taking about 3 hours in total. We then discussed the options, and a management plan. This was all sent in letter form to my GP so I could be issued the correct medication. I had trouble getting a repeat prescription from my GP, as I had "upped" my doseage as per Dr Sally Cubbins recommendation, so I emailed her office. Within an hour I had a response, informing me they would pass the email on to Dr Sally Cubbin. Within the next hour, Dr Sally Cubbin telephoned me and conducted an interview over the phone. Within the next hour, I received 2 emails with the information and letters I required following the telephone interview. From now on, any questions, problems etc with ADHD matters, I wont even bother with my GP - I will email Dr Sally Cubbins' office manager for advice and direction. I will continue to have follow up appointments to help manage my ADHD. They are both extremely pleasant, understanding, efficient and approachable. I would not hesitate to recommend them highly. And "Thank you" for changing my life for the better :)

Dr Cubbin is a very approachable, caring lady. Very supportive and understanding during my struggle with depression while dealing with other health issues. She listened intently, looked at side effects of all my medication and has persevered through various drugs until we have finally found the most successful and I am fully enjoying life again. I would recommend her to anyone ! Thank you Dr Cubbin.
